Together with pastoral and leadership partners, we have put together a lesson plan that will give students a strong biblical foundation, and prepare them effectively for evangelism and mission.
Students will have 12-15 hours of lessons a week. We aim to place an emphasis on teaching the bible in the same spirit as it was written: These lessons will strengthen your faith, reveal more about God’s being, and act as a compass in life. Some subjects will be taught topically, others by focusing on a certain book in the bible.
In addition to lesson content, we also want to place an emphasis on teaching you various methods which will help you study the bible by yourself, evangelize, and teach God’s word effectively (inductive bible study, sermon preparation, communication, and developing evangelistic strategies etc.).
Once a week students will be assigned a study task. These serve the purpose of further studying specific lesson content, the monthly book (see below), or a certain bible passage.
Every month, there is a selected book that every student must read. Books of both inspiration and information. They will cover topics such as identity, church, missions, church history, apologetics, leadership, world religions, and more.
Annette (22): "Surely it is important to understand the Word of God not only with your mind, but to get it from your mind into your heart, where it actually transforms your life. That's what I was able to learn here at Gospeltribe. That is not only enriching, but essential to your life. More vision and foresight from God are guarenteed."
